Do you take insurance?
We do not accept or bill any insurance, but will be happy to provide you with a super bill including relevant codes to submit as an out-of-network provider. We accept credit card payments (including HSA), ACH by invoice for established patients and checks
How do I get a prescription refilled?
The easiest way is to request this at your pharmacy, who will fax us a refill request. Please plan accordingly and allow a few days for this to transpire, permitted refills are included on the initial prescription. Follow-up appointments may be necessary.
What do you charge?

The current billing rate for appointments is $320 per hour. The first appointment can be as short as 90 minutes or as long as 3 hours. The hourly rate is for patient time spent, not necessarily scheduled. For example if the appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes, but takes 90 minutes the charge would be for 90 minutes. Alternatively, if an appointment is scheduled for 60 minutes, but takes 30 minutes, the charge would be for 30 minutes. This also covers up to 2 emails per month for questions answered by the provider.

How do you communicate with patients outside of visits?
We try to use patient portal for HIPAA secure messaging direct to our provider during business hours. Please allow 24 hours for the provider to return messages. Email is also a form of communication however it is not secure, though more responsive.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please allow 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. No shows are charged for appointment time $320 hourly rate, a maximum of 1 hour.
Do you handle lab draws?

You will be emailed lab requisitions for Quest or Labcorp after appointments and then your blood can be drawn at the specified facility.

We do not handle billing for these service as your insurance will be billed by the laboratories. Specialty Lab kits (ie: Igenex) can be mailed to you with instructions about where to go to have blood drawn or instructions for specimen collection and shipment.

Do you carry supplements?
We carry a supply of specific herbal antimicrobials from Byron White that are not available to the public. We also utilize Fullscript mail service for a full array of discount supplements and therapies that Dr. Brown recommends.
Do you see patients virtually?

Dr. Brown sees patients virtually through Zoom/GoogleMeets. She also offers phone visits for established patients.

What labs are required for an appointment with Dr. Brown?

Please fax or email recent (6 months to 1 year) and diagnostic labs. For Lyme patients Dr. Brown requires a result from a commercial lab like Labcorp, Quest or Igenex. There are some other labs that she may accept the results of (DNAConneXions is NOT acceptable) just email our manager info@denverintegrativecare,com to find out. We can send an Igenex kit out to you for the cost of shipping which is around $10.
